Dr. Heidi Ellermeier

Dr. Heidi Ellermeier grew up in Champaign, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois where she received her undergraduate degree in 2009 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Dr. Ellermeier practiced in Arizona for several years before moving back home to Illinois in 2025. She has practiced in both ER/ urgent care and general practice settings.

Her professional interests include urgent care, toxicology, exotic pet wellness, internal medicine, hospice care, animal behavior and genetic health.

In her spare time, she enjoys growing orchids, participating in AKC rally/conformation, and spending time with her family.
